This park contains a small boardwalk which provides a nice area to walk along the water & a statue/memorial dedicated to fisherman.

A plaque nearby reads:

Dedicated to the memory of Councilman Thomas F.K. Loughran, a strong advocate of the publics right of free access to the waterfront.

Acquired from the Federal Government to be used as a public park in perpetuity.
