This Tiger was built in 1973 for the South Vetnamise Air Force. In 1975 as the South collapsed, it was one of several Tigers brought back to the United States. It was initially flown as an aggressor for the USAF under S/N 73-900. Somtime in the mid-1980's it was transferred to the USN and given BUNO 160796. This airframe saw service with the VF-126 Bandits and VF-43 Challengers, west and east coast aggressor squadrons respectively, before finally ending up at NAS Fallon and the Saints of VFC-13.
