McAllister Transfer was a local trucking company. They would haul freight, assist with local household moves, etc. They used the former Harrison Nursery packing and shipping warehouse as their local base of operations.

The 203 E. 13th address in the 1953 Yellow Pages listing was the office building which stood at the corner of 13th and Grant. The office building was demolished a few years ago to allow the driveway for the load-out dock to be expanded.
