Nakhonchai Air Pty Ltd is one of the leading Thai private bus companies. With its VIP (gold) and second class (silver) service it covers most of the major routes in central and northern Thailand. Each gold bus has a hostess on board, snacks and a bottle of water are included in the ticket price, and services are punctual. There is a web site for the company, but despite many promises, it is still only in Thai.
The Pattaya station is small: a ticket counter, a seated waiting area, a small convenience store, and (pay) toilets, all undercover. From Pattaya routes run to the north of the country (Chang Mai) and to the north east (Ubon Ratachani). The southern point of this route lies south of Pattaya in Rayong, approximately 50kms distant.
