This one is in Prospect Hill Cemetery in Gloversville, New York. Take Rt.30 north from Johnstown into Gloversville. Right after you leave Johnstown look to your left for Kingsboro Ave. and make your left here. Follow this all the way to the Cemetery. I've been seeing a lot of these lately and couldn't pass this one up. There's gotta be a couple hundred of these things around here so I'm looking for ornate or different. This one is definately different. I think its concrete or the next stone grade up from sandstone. I thought this one should be immortalized now before it finishes its split and fall to the ground below. It is the centerpiece of the Churchill Family plot. The plot is a mix of old a newer stones. Some readable and some not. The name on the obelisk itself is almost readable. I can make out enough letters to know that it says Churchill but only after checking out the other stones around it. I wish I could tell you more about the family but I don't have any info at this point. Happy WM', Swizzle & Family
