About 30mins walk from Kamakura Station (west exit), Zeniarai Benten is the popular sightseeing venue among many in Kamakura City.
The name of this temple "Zeniarai" means " wash the money". When you visit here, you will find many people washing their money. Washing money here is believed to bring you a prosperity.
And, don't forget to get your Goshuin here!
Each Temple and/or Shrine has its own stamp called "Goshuin", the red stamp. Usually, 300 yen is required to get the Goshuin. If you need, you can buy your stamp book called "Goshuin cho". Obtain your Goshuin cho and get Goshuin! It would be fun!
