One of my favorites, Bittersweet falls is best viewed within a few days of a rainfall. There is a clearing right beside it for a picnic or rest and is situated only a few hundred feet from the road. There is no designated parking, but there is a bit of a shoulder to pull off on to.
From Middlebury, take rte 125 west to lemon fair rd. Head north until you reach Bittersweet falls rd on your right. The falls are just after the bridge at the base of a hill and off to the right.
