This park is a nice place for a lunchtime getaway. Located in the southeast quadrant of the intersection of S. College St & W. Persimmon St, the Irene E Mitchell Park is a passive public park without recreational equipment but the offerings include the gazebo, benches and picnic tables for public usage during daylight hours.
