We can see St. Mary's Academy from our office, but who would have thought it had 2 benchmarks in it? This benchmark is part of the Canadian Gravity Standardization Network (CGSN), of which there are only 2 in this city; the other was on the bottom front step of the RC church in Chatham. Those steps were replaced a few years ago.
The second benchmark on St. Mary's is 53B052 (BM-1111-G) on the front of the building.
Published coordinates shown on location sketch are poor (probably scaled from a 1:50,000 topo map) - I used coordinates derived from a 1m orthophoto in ArcMap to post this benchmark.
