DESCRIBED BY COAST AND GEODETIC SURVEY 1960 (GWM) THE STATION IS THE CENTER OF THE RED LIGHT ON TOP OF THE TOWER ABOUT 12 MILES SOUTHEAST OF ORLANDO. THE TOWER IS A SELF-SUPPORTING 4-LEGGED STEEL TOWER PAINTED INTERNATIONAL ORANGE AND WHITE. THE HEIGHT IS 206 FEET. IT HAS 4 REFLECTOR FANS ON TOP. THE TOWER IS OWNED AND OPERATED BY THE AMERICAN TELEPHONE AND TELEGRAPH COMPANY. TO REACH THE STATION FROM THE JUNCTION OF STATE HIGHWAYS 50 AND 15A (ABOUT 6 MILES EAST OF ORLANDO), GO SOUTH ON STATE HIGHWAY 15A FOR 5.35 MILES TO THE JUNCTION OF STATE HIGHWAY 15. CONTINUE SOUTH ON HIGHWAY 15 FOR 4.8 MILES TO THE STATION ON THE LEFT.

RECOVERY NOTE BY NATIONAL GEODETIC SURVEY 1975 (EP) THIS INTERSECTION STATION WAS RECOVERED IN GOOD CONDITION AS DESCRIBED. AIRLINE DISTANCE AND DIRECTION FROM NEAREST TOWN 10 MILES SE OF CONWAY.
