The post office is just on the fringe of the historic area. The postal employees inside weren't uptight and allowed me to snap a photo. In 1882 J.Stokes Collings opened a store which also operated as the post office with Collings serving as postmaster. This was the beginning of the local postal system with the town's namesake in charge. This building is a product of the later half of the 20th century.
