"Spartan Brigade"
The 4th Brigade Combat Team (Airborne) of the 25th Infantry Division is based at Fort Richardson, Alaska. From October 2006 to December 2007 they conducted operations in Iraq and were involved in some of the most difficult combat of the war. The 4th Brigade Combat Team (Airborne) memorial was unveiled at Fort Richardson, Alaska on May 16, 2008.
This memorial is located on the parade ground of the Brigade HQ building. Fort Richardson is an active Army base and proper ID is required to enter to visit memorial.
