The station was visited three times (on 8/1, 8/6, and 9/26 2009) and eventually found as described, with corrections and additions.

The station and RMs 1 and 3 are set in robust concrete cylinders a couple of inches above ground, although RM3's cylinder is now badly cracked. Additionally, an abandoned power pole is 16 ft. from the station, bearing 270dT (see area photo).

To reach, follow Brimball Hills Dr. to its end. Walk around the locked gate to reservoir, and follow the paved access road (NW) about 150 ft. Then scramble up the forested bank of the reservoir about 250 ft. to a gap in the fence about 50 ft. (S) of the tank. Pass through and scramble another 100 ft. up the steep, bramble and poison ivy-covered bank to the top. Station is about 175 ft. to the (SE). Alternatively, you can follow the circular access road to the (SE) and then follow it around to the left and up to the top of the reservoir--longer, but less harmful.

Observations confirmed that the bearings to RM1 and RM3 as shown in the box score of the Datasheet for MY0272 have been swapped in error. The distances to these marks are correct as given, however. That is, RM3 is roughly north of the station about 175 ft. distant, while RM1 is ESE of the station, distant about 104 ft.

RM4 is set in the center of a rectangular concrete pad which was formerly the mounting point for a Nike battery target tracking radar (TTR). It lies about 75 ft. from RM1, bearing about 75dT.

On my last visit to the site, I used NGS FORWARD to compute the coordinates of RM2, which in 1958 was declared "lost" by USCGS, searched by GPSr (under thick canopy) and then used a metal detector to find the mark, about 3" below ground. RM2 is about 28 ft. outside (SSW) of the fence line at the foot of the reservoir slope, as measured from one of the remaining fence posts. In addition, RM2 lies 5.5 ft. from the bark of the most westerly trunk of a triple-trunked hardwood, bearing 255dT from the tree. I built a small cairn of stones was over the mark during my visit.
