Cemetery hauntings are very well know at this NRHP site & are actually used to market the graveyard. Around Halloween, Laurel Hill hosts a variety of guided tours perfect for the Halloween season & designed to scare the "you know what" out of you.

Several tours will be offered this year, including “Dining with the Dead.” This Halloween-themed event includes a catered, candlelit BYOB dinner in the Cemetery Gatehouse, followed by a group Halloween tour.

And don’t forget about Laurel Hill’s most popular tour, “Sinners, Scandals and Suicides”, where, on October 12, you’ll visit the grave of a South Philly gangster, a Civil War hero and a noted artist who committed suicide during the Depression. The final resting places of these troubled souls will be among many stops on Laurel Hill’s scandalous, sinful and sordid side.
