We don't have cable so we would never have heard of this place if it weren't for the fact that because we live in a Quonset Hut and have managed to become involved with Route 66. One of our fellow Roadies told us about it and a few other folks have said they saw the episode that features this restaurant and of course thought of us.

So of course, on our trip to the National Route 66 Festival held in 2008, in Litchfield, IL., we had to swing in. Well we're real glad we did. We got there just before a large group of folks driving old T-Buckets were done eating. The parking lot was full of them.

The interior is decked out in 50's & 60's decor. The food is fantastic. Leona tried the Shoe and I tried the 16" pancake. Absolutley delicious! Neither of us could finish.
