Lake George Cemetery was established in 1872. The older part of the cemetery is at the top of the hill. There are numerous unknown grave sites. They are marked with piles of rocks with a bigger rock as a headstone. There are also a few homemade headstones. There are some Civil War Vetrans.
There are approximately 150-200 graves, plus the ones that are not marked.
This is not a well kept cemetery.
