Cold River Falls - Zoar, MA - Waterfalls on Waymarking.com

Making our way west on the Mohawk Trail (MA Route 2) we pulled over to get a shot of the Cold River. The coordinates are for a little spot on the side of the road just for that purpose.

As I climbed over the guard-rail, I noticed a culvert and climbed down the embankment. Looking through the culvert I could see where the water was coming from.

The waterfall goes under the Mohawk Trail!

So I made my way through to the other side to get pictures of the falls (safer than actually crossing Route 2). Took my pictures and made my way up the embankment on the other side of the road. Wifey was not thrilled to see me waving from the opposite side of the road.
Why is it that when they think you may have done bodily harm to yourself and then find that you haven't they threaten to beat the cr@p out you?
