A granite post marking one point on the boundary line between the towns of Ipswich and Topsfield, Massachusetts. It is located on the Topsfield/Ipswich Road.

This is one of many granite posts used to mark points on the boundary lines between towns in this area, in this case, the Town of Ipswich and the Town of Topsfield. The markers generally are located where the town line turns at an angle, although in some cases they occur at intermediate points in long straight runs.
An adjacent marker is
Hamilton-Ipswich-Topsfield (WM95W5), about 100 yards South.
Type of survey mark: Granite post, approximately eight inches square, and about three feet high.

The road name changes here. It is Ipswich Road in Topsfield, and Topsfield Road in Ipswich. It is on the south side of the road, about six feet from the town line sign post.
