This area is part of the Agua Caliente Indian Reservation and they do charge admission to drive into the canyon.

From the first parking lot on your right at the end of Andreas Canyon Rd, go 100 feet southwest to the edge of the creek. The gaging station is near a small dam and very easy to find.
