Clean and well kept, but information painted over.

County of Caboose: Chariton County.
Location of Caboose: Brunswick City Park, Breckenridge St & Kearney St., Brunswick.
Main windows replaced with steel plates. Bay windows plexiglass.
Only markers found are the names: "Wabash" and initials "NW" and "NS".
Would be interested in any assistance and/or further information.
I am told by caboose9 that this is not, nor ever has been, a Wabash Caboose.
If it NEVER was a Wabash caboose, why would this community paint their colors on a caboose for their park.
Any way, it is painted in the Wabash colors with Wabash logo.
Under coat is a Norfold Western colors and logo.
What it was, and where it was will remain a mystery.
Railroads that served here are:ATSF (Atchison, Topeka & Santa Fe), H&J (Hannibal & St. Joseph R.R.), BN (Burlington Northern),B&S (Bevier & Southern R.R.), NM (North Missouri RR), NW (North Western RR), C&R (Chariton and Randolph RR), and M.K.&T. (Missouri-Kansas & Texas or Katy).
Not accepting word of mouth at this point, still looking for some documentation as to why "Wabash".
