The memorial was given by Armenian Apostolic Church to Russian Orthodox Church at the occassion of rebuilding the Christ the Saviour church in 2000 (see the Cathedrals waymark nearby).
The inscription in Russian reads:
"At the joyful event of re-creating Church of Christ the Saviour from seat of Armenian Apostolic Church as a sign of brotherly love in Christ. In Ejmiatsin, 2000."
