While passing through Marshalltown, Iowa on business I noted this wonderful sculpture and fountain. The fountain is a timed series of pulses and sprays. A quote from Christian Petersen serves as the inspiration for the fountain: “We lift up our young to see beyond that which we can see.”
The fountain is located directly in front of the Fisher Community Center. You can pick up additional information about Marshalltown in the visitor’s center in the same building.
