EN: This chapel is located in the forest on the west side of the Mumpferfluh. A small staircase leads from the forest road to the slightly elevated chapel. The narrow rectangular building has a side window on the west side. The entrance under the north gables is bordered by wood, but has no door. The back wall is designed as a Mariengrotte.
According to oral tradition, the chapel was donated in 1911 by a local coachmen who had a heavy incident nearby with his car loaded with tree trunks.
DE: Diese Kapelle befindet sich im Wald an der Westseite der Mumpferfluh. Eine kleine Treppe führt von einem Weg zu der leicht erhöhten Kapelle. Das schmale rechteckige Gebäude hat ein Seitenfenster an der Westseite. Der Eingang unter den Nordgiebel ist mit Holz verkleidet und hat keine Tür. Die Rückwand ist als Mariengrotte gestaltet.
Der Überlieferung nach wurde die Kapelle 1911 von einem im Mumpf ansässigen Fuhrhalter gestiftet, der in der Nähe mit seinem holzbeladenen Wagen eine schweren Zwischenfall hatte.
