Lick Observatory - Photos Then and Now on Waymarking.com

There is quit a bit of information on the web about this place. When you come to take your picture and log this Waymark, you can fit in several Geocaches in the area including a webcamcache.
From the Observatory, on clear days you can see San Francisco to the North West just over 50 miles and Yosemite’s Half Dome over 100 miles to the east. I’m told though the air is never that clear anymore. Notice the changes to the building for Earthquake safety, anything that could crack and fall off has been removed.
