This 7-acre park preserves a majestic grove of rare myrtlewood trees along the banks of the Coquille River, S. Fork. It is a day use only area with swimming, boating, and picnicking, but no drinking water and this pit outhouse is the only "facility."

This is a remote and unimproved natural area - no water, no pipes, no septic system, no chemicals - only this old fashioned pit toilet with a nicer metal-ceramic seat with a cinder block enclosure, and bullet holes in the metal door.
