Through the Great Swamp National Wildlife Refuge is the Great Boardwalk. It snakes through the swamp like a quiet little snake. Eventually it comes out the other side as quietly as it started.

The Great Swamp National Wildlife Refuge is a quiet refuge from the city. You can take two diferent pathes through the swamp to the end. At the end of the trail, there is a viewing blind witch lets you see birds and other critters of the swamp.
Approximate boardwalk length (feet): 1 mile.
