The actual site is some 600 yards behind the marker. The silo itself is still there, but there is otherwise not much to see. The site is now occupied by the Town of Alburgh's Highway Department.

This facility held an Atlas F and was manned by the 556th Strategic Missile Squadron under the 380th Strategic Air Wing, stationed at nearby Plattsburgh Air Force Base, which itself is no longer operational.
