The Confluence Community Center was built in 1987 as a place for the youth and others in this town of 800 to come. The grounds here are also home to Pumpkinfest, held the first Friday-Saturday-Sunday of each October. The building also hosts the borough offices/police department, Childcare, and the food pantry
