Trinidad is a burgeoning community, boasting a rich history, vibrant culture, and a down home friendly atmosphere.
The town was established in 1876, as part of the Colorado Territory. Shortly after, in 1881, the Trinidad & Las Animas County Chamber of Commerce was established to serve and support–not only the local merchants, but the community as a whole. The Chamber has served the community and its merchants faithfully through both the good times and bad.
