Pinnacle Overlook is about 545 feet above Lake Aldred on the Suesquehanna River. Holtwood Hydroelectric Dam 2 miles to the South and Safe Harbor Hydroelectric Dam 5 miles to the north forms the 2400-acre Lake Aldred. Kelly's Run Pinnacle Trail System is accessible from the overlook parking area as well as the Conestoga Trail.
