This tollhouse in one of the original designed by Thomas Telford for his London to Holyhead Road (A5). The tollhouse is located in Penrhos, just outside Holyhead on the Isle of Anglesey.

The tollhouse has been converted into a cafe (The Tollhouse Tea Rooms).

The tollhouse is not in its original location but was moved brick by brick and reconstructed at its present location in the late 1960s due to construction work being carried out on the embankment.

The land that the tollhouse is located on and the surrounding Penrhos Costal Park is the property of Anglesey Aluminium which is currently the main employer in the area.

There is an original A5 milestone nearby and one of Thomas Telford's original 'Sunburst' design gates.
