These crab are all around Washington, NC. Each is decorated differently from the others. They are sponsored by local organizations with the help of the Beaufort County Arts Council and the Pine Needle Garden Club, the city sponsored the “Crabs on the Move” public art project. Local artists painted the blue crab statues now on display throughout downtown.
