Punta Prima is another well known beach in the south coast of Menorca.
It was known as Sandy Bay during the British occupation of the island due to is fine white sand.
This is a very nice beach for the kids because the water is very low and the all area is protected from the high sea by the Isla de Aire (Aire island) right in front of it.
Around the beach you can still found some of the fisherman´s huts but the all area is now a large tourist complex with several facilities.
Around the beach you will find several bars, restaurants, Hotels, rent a car and in the beach, the traditional umbrellas, sun beds, paddle boats etc...
It´s a surveilled beach
Parking didn´t seem a problem also.
