St. Martin's Church Historical Marker Reads:
ESTABLISHED AROUND 1692 AS A CHAPEL-OF-EASE FOR SNOW HILL PARISH, AND LATER, IN 1744, DESIGNATED AS THE PRINCIPAL CHURCH OF WORCESTER PARISH. THE ORGINIAL FRAME BUILDING WAS REPLACED WITH THIS GEORGIAN BRICK STRUCTURE, COMPLETED IN 1764.
Historical Marker was erected by the Maryland Historical Trust and Maryland State Highway Administration.
