RVing Snowbirds can almost always be found traveling with pets. Cats, dogs, birds, and other creatures they have loved over the years. As with all good things, this too must come to an end. As will often happen, the end comes when far from home. And so was developed The Slabs Pet Cemetery at the West edge of the RV parking area of The Slabs. First one grave, then another, and another. Little by little the Pet Cemetery has grown. Every year one or two new graves can be found here. Often a grieving RVer will be spotted visiting the little Pet Cemetery, glad to have had a permanent place to leave their beloved pet.
