This old school plays the Central District Youth Center in Episode 13 of Season 9 of "Matlock" titled "The Assault".
Andy' Griffith's character 'Benjamin Matlock' has car troubles and he breaks down in a bad part of the city. Matlock is then mugged by a couple bad guys. Walking around trying to find help, Matlock runs into Christopher Birt's character 'Stanley Johnson'. Matlock then thinks he is going to try and mug him but it turns out that Stanley Johnson just wants to help Matlock get his car started.
The next day Matlock pays a visit to Mr. Johnson at the Central District Youth Center where he works to thank him and apologize for thinking that he was going to mug him. In this scene Mr. Johnson is out playing basketball with some of the Center's kids.
