Blanchard Oak, listed on the Live Oak Registry #2987, in 1952. Size is amazing, I never noticed how large it was, having driven under it almost weekly. Tree is located right on shoulder on Historic Louisiana Hwy. 1 north of Labidieville, LA. Parking was easy across street at an automobile repair shop. The Blanchard Oak is located on private property. The roadway does have a shoulder, but Hwy. 1 is a VERY busy, heavily traveled road, so stopping is discourged. Height given by resident that lived across street.
