This old World War II shelter stands near a farm by a public footpath.

The shelter is quite well preserved with the entrance blast walls still intact and the interior corrugated iron roof still wearing well. The earth which used to be covering the shelter has now washed away exposing the concrete outer roof covering the iron sheeting.

Nearby is the Cranfield Airfield, an integral part of World War II.
