The Dedham Community Theatre is a small theatre that has been able to continue showing movies since 1927. It has survived competition from larger chains such as Showcase Cinemas. It now has two screens and offers the usual concessions. It is located on High Street, close to the intersection with Washington Street.
There is parking located at a lot near the intersection of High Street and Eastern Avenue. Street parking is also available.
The marquee was just replaced (March 2009). Thus, it isn't the original one to the cinema.
In the basement is the Museum of Bad Art, which, alone is worth the trip to see.
