"TURRET ARCH, the last major formation in the Windows area, is so named because the reef in which it is found terminates in a great spearheaded tower. The arch itself is shaped something like a keyhole (of Brobbingnagian proportions) and is accompanied by a smaller window which had not in 1940 been deemed sufficiently remarkable to merit a name. A favorite trick of photographers is to walk through the South Window and snap Turret Arch in its frame."
--- Utah. A Guide to the State, 1941
I found Turret Arch to be one of the prettiest we visited. It certainly has a uniqueness in it's solidarity and shapes. To get to Turret Arch, park at the Window Section parking lot and turn to the right instead of continuing the trail to the South Window. The trail will take you right underneath it's arch.
