This time capsule was placed on May 27, 2006 as part of Wellsboro's Bicentennial Celebration, and is planned to be opened on the Tricentennial. It was planted by the community of Wellsboro during the celebration, and contains items designed by local artists. It is located on the center of The Green, Just behind the Winken, Blinken, and Nod Fountain.
