This azimuth mark is located near Lower Bridge Road, 3.25 miles west of U.S. Hwy. 97. The station mark DIKE is missing but this azimuth mark still exists. The azimuth mark is about 0.25 miles SE of the former station site which was about 300 feet south of Lower Bridge Road. The azimuth mark was set by the U.S. Coast & Geodetic Survey in 1945 and was marked DIKE NO 2.

THE STATION IS ON GOVERNMENT OWNED LAND IN THE NW 1/4 SECTION 13, R 12 E, T 14 S. TO REACH THE STATION FROM THE TERREBONNE POST OFFICE GO NORTH ON U.S. HIGHWAY 97 FOR 0.45 MILE TO A CROSSROAD, TURN LEFT, AND GO WEST ON NW LOWER BRIDGE WAY FOR 3.25 MILES TO A CROSSROAD, TURN LEFT, AND GO SOUTH ON THE SAND ROAD FOR 300 FEET TO THE CATTLE GUARD, AND THE STATION ON THE RIGHT. AZIMUTH MARK IS OPPOSITE A SLIGHT CURVE IN THE ROAD. IT IS 42 FEET EAST OF THE CENTER OF THE ROAD AND 3 FEET NORTH OF A 4X4 INCH WHITE WITNESS POST. IT IS SET IN A BOULDER THAT PROJECTS 16 INCHES. IT IS STAMPED DIKE 1945.
