I can remember Youngville just rotting away as we would drive to Cedar Rapids from Blairstown on Highway 30. Then I started to see some activity at the site. A resoration project was under way. Youngville is primarily open for business in the summer months. They have a cafe serving sandwiches and salads for lunch. Lots of memorabilia can be found on the property, and they have a farmers market on Fridays in the summer.
