Lesser Slave Regional Fire Service provides a variety of emergency services including fire suppression and rescue response.

Throughout the region there are four fire stations, a full time fire chief, a full time deputy chief and seventy volunteer firefighters.

The fleet includes six front line pumpers, two tankers, two light rescues, two brush trucks and two command responders.

The departments respond to an average of 250 calls a year of which 60% are rescue related.
