This benchmark is located along U.S. Hwy. 20 about 6.0 miles northwest of Brothers. The benchmark is set in a concrete post about 100 feet south of highway centerline, at the fenceline. The benchmark was set by the U.S. Coast & Geodetic Survey in 1943 and was marked T372.

DESCRIBED BY COAST AND GEODETIC SURVEY 1943. ABOUT 6.0 MILES NORTHWEST ALONG THE CENTRAL OREGON HIGHWAY (U.S. 20) FROM THE STORE AND SERVICE STATION AT BROTHERS, DESCHUTES COUNTY, ABOUT 1 MILE EAST OF THE JUNCTION OF THE BEAR CREEK HIGHWAY (OREGON 27), 98 FEET SOUTH OF THE CENTER LINE OF THE HIGHWAY, 18 FEET WEST OF A POWER-TRANSMISSION LINE POLE, IN LINE WITH THE ROW OF POLES, AND 2 FEET NORTH OF A WHITE WOODEN WITNESS POST. A STANDARD DISK, STAMPED T 372 1943 AND SET IN THE TOP OF A CONCRETE POST PROJECTING ABOUT 3 INCHES ABOVE GROUND.
