From the District web pag:
The Paul H. Karshner Memorial Museum is a fun place for children and their families to learn about history, cultures and habitats from across the globe. It's a hands-on adventure through time, full of everything from dinosaur fossils and bird feathers, to a mid-1800s general store and a life-size Indian tipi.
The Karshner Museum is a curriculum-based teaching museum, one of few district-operated museums in the country. Kindergarten through fifth-grade classes receive a grade-level presentation, which includes a hands-on approach to learning. Discovery kits are made available to teachers for in-classroom enrichment.
