In October, 2004, Robert Clifton Cauthreaux III presented his Eagle Scout project to Central Pierce County Fire and Rescue for display in front of Headquarters Station 6. The memorial is a rock pedestal about 3 feet tall and 1' X 1'. It is topped by a thick stone plaque. The front of the pedestal has a list of fallen firefighters.
