The grave markers appear to be simple concrete stepping stones painted with the names and dates of the individuals buried there.

Annie Travis' marker is tilted and almost completely obscured by the branches of an evergreen and a thick blanket of leaves. No dates are visible on this marker. Cemetery records indicate she was born in 1895 and died May 7, 1917. There is a better photograph of the marker, obviously taken several years earlier, at this site:

Clive Goodson's marker nearby is easily readable and bears the following inscription:
Clive Goodson
1899-12-21-1920

From Quinlan take FM 35 east and turn south on Whiskers Rd. This will be a dirt road. Turn right when you see the small sign for CR 3838. When the road turns south continue straight ahead past some mobile homes on the left. The tiny, overgrown lane looks like a private drive but you should be able to see the sign over the entrance reading "McBride Cemetery". Continue on through the gate and park near the entrance. Be cautious about driving into the grounds very far as there are many markers which are flat on the ground and almost completely obscured. I suggest you park near the entry gate and walk the rest of the way if you explore the grounds. The two homemade markers for this waymark are rather close to the entry near some rather large trees and evergreens growing below.
