Upon driving by the location one would never guess that this is the final resting place of an Academy Award winning actress. The grave bears a simple horizontal marker in the Fogelson family plot at the northwest portion of the cemetery.

Eileen Evelyn Greer Garson was a British-born actress who was very popular during the years of the Second World War. As one of MGM's major stars of the 1940s, Garson received seven Academy Award nominations, winning the Best Actress award for Mrs. Miniver (1942). She was often cast as the leading lady opposite Walter Pidgeon.
