This smallish, pre-fabricated playground can be found in the back right of Anniversary park, a stones throw from historic Young Circle. In addition to the usual slides and what not, there is also a neat little climbing net in the shape of a pyramid.

The playground can be used in inclement weather I suppose as a yellow canopy is draped over it. There is astroturf on the ground. My favorite ride is one of those little back and forth dealies you sit in and rock. I think it is shaped like a space ship. So, you have the added benefit of space travel as well. Also, it is a two-seater so a friend can come along as well.

This small park is located in the center of downtown Hollywood’s business district. The park is fenced in and fairly compact. There is a winding path that spans the interior of the park in a winding fashion.

The newly renovated Anniversary Park is beautifully landscaped with magnolia and oak trees, bamboo and flowering shrubs. The park offers benches and game tables as well as the aforementioned playground area for toddlers and children. The equipment is pretty unique in comparison to neighboring playgrounds. Definitely a nice place for lunch. The park also hosts holiday and community events like Moonlight Movies and the Foreign Film Festival.
